Everyone knows that in order to manage and operate the Samsung Gear 360 camera all you need to have is the Gear 360 Manager app. This was initially available only for the Samsung devices, but now with the support of the XDA developers forum this Gear 360 Manager app has made to work with non-Samsung devices as well. It will even have forced 4K support.
As per the sourced report, it has been studied that device lock has been removed from this Gear 360 Manager port, thus making it work with other handsets like Sony, HTC, Huawei, and etc. Beside this, the mentioned Forced 4K video support explains that the app does not degrade the videos to 2K for devices other than the Galaxy S7.
The report also says that in order to install this port you device should be running on Android 5.0 Lollipop or higher be it Galaxy S6 smartphone or S6 Edge and many others . In addition to this, the device must have the Samsung Accessory Service, which you can get installed from the Play Store.
