For those who are using Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in Europe, there is good news Samsung has started rolling the September security patch to all the unlocked variants of the said variants in Europe. The upgrade would carry the firmware version XXU1BPHJ.
This is for the very first time that Samsung has distributed a Security Maintenance Release (SMR), but it is unknown what would be the changes that September firmware would bring. For the time being there is a possibility that you would find the option of update.
If you find so, you need to just simply go to Settings, followed by About Device and locate thereby selecting the Software Update. Followed by this you need to just click to download updates button.
Just wait until you receive a push notification that would promptly allow you to install the update from Samsung’s servers. Do the updating and experience the difference!
